Theme Song

The calling for Theme Song has come to an end. The Organizing Committee is reviewing all submissions and will make relevant announcements very soon.

Volunteer Recruitment

More than 60 choirs from China, overseas and Hong Kong will be joining 2013 HKIYCCF. We are now looking for volunteers, who will be recruited to assist the choirs' accommodation, catering and transportation during the Festival. The volunteers will have opportunity to meet up with choirs from overseas and HKTCA will award a certificate to volunteers to show our appreciation as well. For secondary school students, working hours could be counted into the "Other Learning Experiences".

Festival Period	14-19 July, 2013 (Sunday – Friday)
Working Time	08:00 – 23:00 (On duty time will be assigned according to different job duties)
Festival Venues	Concert & Competition: Hong Kong City Hall, Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Queen Elizabeth Stadium and Tsuen Wan Town Hall Accommodation: Hong Kong Baptist University, City University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Institute of Education and other hotels.
Requirement	F.5 or above Speak fluent Cantonese, Putonghua and English Mature, Friendly and detail-minded Caring, Patience and disciplined Ability to deal with emergency
Subsidy	Junior Volunteer - $80 per day (Secondary School students) Senior Volunteer - $130 per day (University students) *During appointed working hours, we provide free catering and transportation
Responsibility (Choir Volunteer)	Communicating between festival organizers and choirs Taking care of the registered choirs Bringing the choirs to destinations in scheduled time Helping the choirs for any logistic and material needs
Responsibility (Venue / Accommodation Volunteer)	Helping choirs to register Assisting in operation in venues / accommodation Answering the enquires

Interview sessions will be held on 19 or 26 May, 2013 (Sun), and all selected volunteers must attend the briefing sessions on 30 Jun and 7 Jul, 2013 (Sun).

The Volunteer Application period has ended on 10 May 2013. We are currently processing all applications, and confirmation emails are being sent accordingly.
